Our Mission

The purpose of Priority Placements is to provide safe, positive, and predictable outcomes to distressed children and adolescents in need of an educational placement in the Windham County catchment area and beyond.

Our Objectives

We ensure we meet students where they are academically; we differentiate instruction for all students as needed; and we work to increase skills, confidence, and strategies to move forward with success. We work toward growth with academic capacity and self-confidence, allowing each student to achieve success when re-integrating into other educational opportunities.

Admissions

Students that attend Priority Placements are referred by their sending school team. Our staff reviews the student’s information thoroughly before moving forward with the admissions process to ensure appropriateness of the placement. We then meet as a team and welcome the family/support team and the student to visit the school. Once accepted a plan is put into place to best serve the incoming student. Guardians must complete enrollment forms before students begin.

R
